If you upgrade your trampoline, your kids will love it even more as they are great. Do you know that they can be used in a different way?
This DIY trend works with trampolines of any kind and size. Now you can turn your old trampoline into a swinging chair. OWN’s Home Made Simple designer, Ken Wingard has some simple instructions for this.
First of all, you need to remove the “legs.” You need to take its circular metal frame, mat and springs. In order to pad the metal frame you can use pool noodles. Then you can cover with some nice fabric and use spray glue to secure it, and then wrap ropes with high-tensile strength around the fame. Hang the swing from every angle after looping the rope. And leave some space for the opening too.
Then you can hang it on trees, pergolas or in your own frame. Then decorate it with fancy pillows and blankets as you need.
You can use chain instead of rope to hang it if you are making a bigger swing. Hang it on a safe place, and keep it in a high enough off of the ground. Don’t forget to construct a strong framework.
