These rules are my personal guidance.
We didn’t know what is “life is suffering” when we were kids. We even didn’t know who were Buddha and Gandhi and we didn’t pay of our candy. Our parents “suffered” to give us everything what we wanted. But when we start to really meet life, we came to know that not everything is rainbows and sunshine. We had to face many problems, but that’s not the hardest part.
Knowing that problems and suffering are part of life is the hardest part. Just compare your life to running a marathon. You must suffer 26.2 miles if you want to see the happiness on the finish line. The accomplishment and fulfillment you feel once you reach the finish line is really great, but you must be able to suffer throughout the race.
Every day we have to stumble with many mistakes and wrong decisions. Life itself has a way to bring us down.
“Age comes with wisdom”, these rules holds enormous power.
- You will receive a body.
You may like your body or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.
- You will learn lessons.
You life is a full-time, informal school. You will learn many new lessons each day in this school. Sometimes you will like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.
- There are no mistakes, only lessons.
A process of trial, error, and experimentation is called as growth. The “failed” experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately “works”.
- A lesson is repeated until it is learned.
Until you learn the lesson, it will be repeated to you in various forms. Then only you can go on to the next lesson.
- Learning lessons does not end.
Every part of life contains its lessons. There are lessons to be learned if you are alive.
- “There” is no better than “here”.
When your “there” has become a “here”, you will simply obtain another “there” that again, looks better than “here”.
- Others are merely mirrors of you.
Another person will reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself. So don’t hate or love or something about another person.
- What you make of your life is up to you.
Every choice of your life is yours as you have all the tools and resources you need.
- The answers lie inside you.
Every answer you need to know about your life’s lie inside you. You need to do look, listen and trust to find the answers.
