Managed by Karissa, the young mother of nine, the account has gained over 350k followers. Shaq has been in touch with the family through their Instagram account, and at the start of this year, he even paid them a visit.

During his first visit, he enjoyed quality time with the children and showered them with affection. Karissa later shared in a post about the visit, “He came in and played ‘Watch ya mouth’ with the kids, loved on them, encouraged them, entertained them, took pictures with them, gave them gifts, encouraged us as parents, and just showed us so much love.”

While this delightful interaction was already a treasure for the family, the legendary athlete had more surprises in store. A few months after their initial meeting, he reached out once more and treated the family to dinner. “Last night we had a surprise visit from Shaq. He took us to dinner as a family at Babes Chicken. It was such a joy to hang out and share a meal with him.

While it seemed to bring the family immense joy, the NBA player had different intentions. The following day, he took them to the Mercedes dealership and ordered a custom 15-passenger van, which they are expected to receive in mid-July.

The family was taken aback by his kindness, and the children were overjoyed, showering their hero with hugs.

But that wasn’t the end of Shaq’s generosity! The family enjoyed another dinner with the NBA star, who spread joy throughout the evening.

“He then treated us to dinner at the Rainforest Café, where he generously covered the entire meal for another table, unaware that they were visiting from out of state on a mission. He also tipped our waitress $1000 after learning her car had broken down that day,” Karissa shared.

During their second dinner, Shaq discovered that the father of nine was facing troubles with his truck, as the air conditioning and heating had been malfunctioning for some time.

Without hesitation, Shaq knew exactly what to do. He took the family to the Ford dealership and gifted the dad a brand-new truck!
