Animals love their own offspring or species. This is not new news in the Animal Planet. It is difficult to think that one animal love the babies of another animal, a different species. They may like them, but not really like the same as they like their offspring.
In Rode, India, a monkey did something that was almost unimaginable. A rhesus macaque monkey saw a small puppy on the street and immediately adopted it. The monkey tried to protect this little munchkin from other stray dogs like a parent. No one was allowed to come near them.
The people were very happy to see this wonderful scene. Their affection for each other was like a mother and child. The people started to set down food nearby for the monkey and the adopted puppy. It was really surprising that the monkey actually let the puppy have the first bite.
We can see how much love that animals can share, almost parental love. This monkey-puppy bond teaches us something about bonds and relationships.
