Jarbas Agnelli saw a photograph of birds on an electric wire while he was reading a newspaper in one morning. He cut out the photo and thought of making a song using the exact location of the birds as musical notes. He really wanted to hear the melody which was created by the birds.
Jarbas Agnelli asked himself, “I saw this picture of birds on the electric wires”.
“So I cut out the photo and decided to make a song, using the exact location of the birds as notes. I was just curious to hear what melody the birds were creating.”
He sent the music to the photographer, his editor and a reporter, Paulo Pinto, and the story ended up as an interview in the newspaper. It also became the Winner of the YouTube Play Guggenheim Biennial Festival.
You can listen to the incredible sounds that came out of the birds’ positioning on the wires.
Here is the original photograph:
The birds may be trying to tell us something. And the sounds created from them are really amazing and this says that miracles are all around us every day. If we look hard we can see them.
