“One may smile, and smile, and be a villain” – William Shakespeare

When you meet someone at first you see them as a really good person and you get closer with them. Though they are nice and likeable at first sight, slowly you realize that there is something fishy about them. They may always act as they have genuinely friendly feelings they you may end up in a friendship. They act in such a way is just a disguise to hide their true intentions from the world. The real personality is not always what you got to know at first. It a completely different personality.

These people can be really deceitful. They are Janus-faced individuals who show a good face to everyone and hide their negative intentions.  Determining their true nature can’t be some at once. It takes time to identify, but nice you see it, you may want to leave for good.

Here are a 6 signs which could help you in recognizing seemingly “nice” people with bad intentions:

01 They are very demanding

These kind of people are very demanding and seems to be kind, but in reality is a manipulator. He thinks he is the best among the others and always loves to dominate people. He would always like to do his work from others to fulfill his own agenda. You can always reject it straight away by holding your ground. Don’t let yourself get stuck in those negativities.

Whenever to talk to a person you must feel positive because of their genuine qualities, but if you end up feeling negative and emotionally drained then that person is certainly pretending to be a kind person with genuine qualities. If you identify these people and you feel discomfort to spend time with them, then you should avoid them slowly.

03 Eye contact and body language

When a person tries to talk in eye contact you always think that he/she is a truthful person, but remember good manipulators know how and when to maintain their eye contact. Their eye contacts will try to scare you and maintain their eye contacts suspiciously ling that will make you uncomfortable. You can identify and understand them if you read their body language. A sign of a good manipulators is that they touch a body part above the shoulder line. You can see all through their façade.

04 They can be highly persuasive

As said earlier, they will always try to give you a work load that you are not willing to do. Persuasion is a game they play to win regardless of the consequences. They will always try to use the excuse of “Peer Pressure” to do all their work. We already know that they are good at manipulating. They might also use their charm and smooth-talking to captivate you in their spell. Don’t let them fool you, be very attentive and listen carefully whenever they speak.

05 Insulting humor

They will always try to insult you in public in an unnoticeable manner. They might end up saying something mean or offensive and then they will cover it by saying “just kidding”. They use humor as a means to insult people. They will try to put you down in front of people so that they can shine among them. When they do such stuff they feel like they are in control of everything and they are the ones who are handling the situation. Doing so fulfills them with a sense of superiority.

06 it’s all about them

They will always try to stand out in conversations, whatever the conversation is about they will try to end it for them and only them. All the conversations, topics and discussions will be always about them. They will behave like an attention seeking teenage drama queen. They will definitely manipulate the course of the conversation very well and it will be hard for you to pitch a single word.
