104-Year Old Japanese Doctor Recommends These 14 Healthy Pieces of Advice

Dr. Shigeaki Hinohara will tell you how to live well over 100 and what habits can help us live that long. He is 104, but he lives a pretty active life in Japan. He has written over 150 books in his career and offer advice on leading a long and happy life. Following are 14 advices to have a long and healthy life by Dr. Hinohara.

  • Stay fit

According to Dr. Hinohara try always staying in shape which means you should stay physically active and have a healthy diet. According to him, for breakfast, consume orange juice, coffee, and olive oil. For lunch, cookies, and milk, for dinner, eat rice, vegetables and fish will make you healthier. He also suggests eating 100 gr. of lean meat twice a week.

  • Don’t believe your doctor

Even though he is a doctor, his advices not to follow your doctor as it doesn’t make you healthy and it will make you have the negative effects on your body.

  • Science alone can’t cure everything

Science alone couldn’t cure all diseases, according to Dr. Hinohara. If you want to treat illnesses and stay healthy, he says that you must incorporate visual and even liberal arts.

  • Always plan ahead
